Date of birth: December 30, 1959 in Sterzing/Vipiteno, Italy

of Veterinary Medicine in Vienna from 1979 to 1986.


State exam
1987 at the Veterinary Faculty of the University of Bologna, Italy.


Doctoral Study and Thesis
from 1986 to 1989 at the Clinic of Orthopaedics in Large Animals of the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna, Austria with the title: “Therapy of purulent arthritis of the distal interphalnangeal joint – Comparison of the surgical methods amputation throrough phalanx media versus disarticulation at the level of the proximal interphalangeal joint”.


Employment:
University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna, Clinic of Horses, Large Animal Surgery and Orthopaedics since 1986; and starting from October 2011 at the Clinic for Ruminants, Veterinärplatz 1, A-1210 Vienna, Austria.


Habilitation (PhD) in June 1999 with the topic „Ultrasonographic diagnosis in the bovine musculoskeletal system “(10 peer-review published articles).
